Setting Your Hope on God

Each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles….

Psalm 78:7 (NLT)

Psalm 78 paints a picture of how important it is for us to remember God’s glorious miracles.

When we forget them, it’s downhill from there: disobedience, stubbornness, rebellion, fear, unfaithfulness, disbelief, mistrust… and grieving the heart of God.

Do you have a miracle to remember? Today is a good day to remember it!

And if you don’t yet have one to remember, then I have 3 books to recommend to you with accounts of many real miracles that you can remember to help you set your hope anew on the God who is still performing glorious miracles:

  • Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts by Craig S. Keener (2011)
  • Eyewitness to Miracles by Randy Clark (2018)
  • Jesus as Healer: Miracles and Meditations in Luke by AmyLu Riley (2016)

Learn more about these books at the Recommended Reading page, in the section on Miracles.

Let’s set our hope anew today on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles.
