The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless (Isaiah 40:28-29 NLT).
The apostle Paul said he delighted in knowing that he was weak, because he understood without a doubt that God works through our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:10). He had eager expectancy that God would work through his surrendered life to accomplish something more than a strong human could on a strong human’s best day.
Pray aloud:
God, I surrender myself to you, and ask you to give me all the strength and power I need from you to do today the work you prepared in advance for me to do (Ephesians 2:10).
I bless your name, God. Thank you for being a good God, a loving God, and a God with the power to bring your good and loving purposes to fruition (Job 42:2).
