When I was a kid, I pressed Silly Putty onto the color comics printed in a newspaper. The putty lifted the ink, producing an exact copy of the comic onto itself. I could then pull and stretch the putty, altering the original image.
The original was still recognizable at first, but the more it was manipulated, the less it looked like itself. In fact, the less it looked like anything.
I believe we have an invitation to accept the words of God about miracles, just as he said them. And that believing what God said will open us to miracles.
God, breathe fresh on your words, and help me believe what you said.
