Are your words good to eat?
With the fruit of a person’s mouth his stomach will be satisfied;
He will be satisfied with the product of his lips.
Proverbs 18:20 (NASB)

The flavors of fall aren’t limited to food.
Scripture teaches that we eat the fruit of our words.
That what we say can satisfy.
And that our speech can be seasoned with grace as with salt.
Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
Colossians 4:6 (NASB)
A Blessing for You
May your rich words of life go down deep,
satisfying people’s souls.
May your speech be seasoned with grace,
keeping and highlighting what is savory and good,
and putting away what is not.
May your words be sweet, good fruit,
A nourishing delight to speaker, hearer, and reader.
